Translation and Localization: Standard translation is defined as adapting a written message into one or multiple other languages while keeping the original meaning intact. The difference between translation and localization is that localization requires an additional “special touch” so that the adaptation takes into account the special needs or particularities of a specific language or region.

While both translation and localization are made by native speakers at our translation company, localization tasks also include experts with experience in marketing and creative writing, since marketing and sales materials are the most commonly localized texts.

Certified translations: Translating legal texts is done by court-certified translators. The translated materials are officially verified, legally valid, and can be used as originals. All official translations are of course handled with utmost discretion and adhere to strict safety policy.

With all the relevant information in hand, the best-fit translator is assigned based on target language expertise, industry, and contextual understanding.

Catapult is a customised portal which offers our translators the most optimal lexicon for your document. These suggestions are generated from your Translation Memory database (TM) in addition to our Neural Language Networks (NLN).

Once idioms, ambiguities, nuances, and complexities are resolved and the document is translated, we run it through an automated check of all the grammar syntax rules in your target language. In the English language alone, 300 grammar rules are considered. Upon completion, the translator notifies the project manager.

Translator competency

All Taia translators proudly demonstrate all five specific competencies outlined by the ISO: translation competence, linguistic and textual competence in both source and target languages, competence in research and processing, cultural competences, technical competences, and domain competence.

Translator qualifications

All our qualified translators have a certificate of competence and five years of documented professional experience. Similarly, all translators and revisers have knowledge in the field of the texts they translate.

Simply drag and drop your document onto the uploader on our landing page and click analyse to use Taia’s translation dashboard.

The translation is displayed by clicking on the project in your dashboard. You also receive the translation to your email address.

The Project Manager reviews and notes down any potential contextual concerns that you may need to know. Once this review is complete, your translated document now holds the highest standard of quality and is considered complete.
