Court translations

How we provide quality court translations

What is a court translation?

A court-certified translation is an official translation and is therefore legally valid, so it can be used as an original. On the TAIA platform, court translations are provided by court translators who have been appointed as permanent court interpreters by the Ministry of Justice. A court translation consists of the source text and its translation into the target language. At the end, the court interpreter provides a statement, stamp and signature guaranteeing that the translation corresponds to the original.

Why choose the TAIA platform?

Our trained team of court interpreters will be happy to provide you with a quality and fast translation service. TAIA.IO provides court certified translations of contracts, business documents, annual reports, identity documents, medical certificates, school certificates, diplomas, work permits and other documents.

After you have registered, upload the document, select the language you are translating from and the language into which you want to translate the document

and place the order.

How do we provide court translations of your documents?

Take a look at the five steps our team takes to fully translate each document

Submitting an enquiry

In the first phase, you send us an enquiry for a court translation. You can do this via email. To prepare an offer, we need you to send us the document to be translated, preferably by mail or in person, or, if this is not possible, electronically. Considering all of the above, we put together an offer that will meet your needs.

After receiving the offer for a court translation, we need you to confirm the offer. You can confirm the start of a court translation in writing or via e-mail. We start the court translation within minutes of receiving your confirmation of the order.

Translation by a court interpreter

The court translation of the text is performed by a court interpreter who is licensed to perform court translations. If you are our regular client and you are satisfied with the court translations of a specific translator, we guarantee that all of your future translations will be performed by the same court interpreter.

Verification and binding the translation with the original documents

After the court translation is completed, the quality of the translation is reviewed. The review of the translation is performed by a person skilled in the field in which the translation is performed. After the court translation is reviewed, the translation is printed, bound together with the original using a notary cord, and stamped.

Submitting a translation

After the text has been translated, we will inform you that the court translation is completed. If agreed, we will then deliver the court translation to you, or you can pick it up in person at the TAIA headquarters.

TAIA is ISO 17100:2015 Certified

We are very proud of our ISO 17100: 2015 ISO Standardized Translation Certification, which we obtained in 2019.

ISO 17100 defines the roles of the translator, their technical resources and the quality of service. It also outlines the best practices for translation companies in order for them to ensure communication between clients and the translator for all completed tasks.

Certification Requirements
Translator Competency

All TAIA translators demonstrate the five specific competences outlined by the ISO standard: translation competence, linguistic and textual competence in source and target languages, competence in research and processing, cultural competences, technical competences, and domain competence.

Translator Qualifications

All TAIA translators have a certificate of competence and five years of documented professional experience. Similarly, all translators and revisers have sufficient knowledge in the field of the texts they translate.

Minimum Standards

All translations are subject to revision by a reviser.

Communication between the client and TAIA

We put emphasis on effective communication with you to ensure that the translation meets quality standards. This means that we work with you to understand the relevant requirements, including the quality of the target text, and its characteristics. We come to an agreement with you on the style of the translation that is required before translation begins.

Feedback Process

TAIA uses a client feedback process to better understand how satisfied you were with the work we have done because our goal is to always keep improving!

Data Protection

ISO 17100 states that data protection requirements must be met. TAIA protects your data with integrity. Read our privacy policy here.
