Frequently asked questions

There are around 258 million Russian speakers in the world today, making it the eighth most spoken language in the world. Today there are roughly 900,000 Russian speakers in the US, with roughly 30% of them located in New York. There are 14.3 million Russian speakers in Ukraine, 6.9 million in Belarus, 6.9 million in Poland, and 3.8 million in Kazakhstan.

If your native language is not related to other Slavic languages, then Russian will likely be very hard to learn. Russian is one of the most difficult languages to learn, due to its complex grammar rules and numerous exceptions. Many English speakers struggle with Russian pronunciation because the stress in words is largely unpredictable and marked in writing, while there are multiple homonyms. If you need to learn Russian for business purposes or for your own interests, it would be more advisable to hire a professional translation agency instead.

In order to receive quality Russian translations, the best option would be to hire a professional translation agency, with experienced Russian translators that have obtained a linguistic qualification from a relevant institution. Therefore, you will be guaranteed that the translator will know not just how to translate your documents generally, but also to translate them in a way that will be well received by your target audience.
