Our technology and translation process
Taia’s technology is made to assure an effective translation process.
We believe in advanced technology. It's here to help us, so we can help you.
At Taia we’re first of all a translation technology company. Our development team provides our users with advanced technology for modern translation services, including
as well as a multitude of other systems for ensuring 100% up-time, instant analysis, fast delivery times and zero compromises on quality.
Check out some of our the technologies we utilize to provide you with outstanding translation services below.
Machine Translation with Neural Language Networks (NMT)
TAIA employs a combination of multiple best-in-class neural language networks developed by tech industry giants that serve up instant translations of 90 languages with reach over 95% of the world’s GDP.
The networks exemplify a high aptitude of understanding even for industry-specific lingo including technology, medical, and sciences to name a few.
They also provide higher quality in a more natural sounding translation output than the traditional statistical machine translation technology (SMT).
Taia automatically selects the most specialized neural network for your target language, helping translators make better-informed edits.
High Consistency through Translation Memory (TM)
The Translation Memory (TM) is a database which can assist translators, proofreaders, and revisioners to provide a quick turnaround for each translation project by providing knowledge of previously translated words with the assistance of the Levenshtein Algorithm.
This means even the “fuzziest” text get accurate recommendations too. Taia employs both public TMs and private TMs for repeat customers.
Our unique approach to this technology decreases processing time and costs significantly while improving overall quality through the provision of textual consistency for all industrial contexts.
Taia Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
When you upload your document, it undergoes the OCR process which detects text from 65 types of digital file types, including handwritten messages and images.
We perform quality improvement, orientation, and artefact removal and immediately learn how many words and characters it holds.
We then compare it to your Translation Memory (TM) and discount previously translated words. Voila – your instant quotation is ready.
Automated Language Syntax Revision for Quality Check
To finalize your target document, our project managers take the translation from the translators and submits it through an automated syntax and consistency check solution to ensure that all brackets, numerical values, spacing, and formattings are consistent with your source document.
The Project Manager then approves and releases your document for your review via the Taia Dashboard.
How we perform high-quality translations
It’s in Taia’s DNA to adapt the most current technologies available to ensure efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
In fact, our ISO-certified translation process was designed to be simple yet effective in providing the most comprehensive review of your text.
Our Six-Step Quality Assurance process
Our six-step process treats your document with the utmost care to ensure confidentiality and your confidence.
See how we take care of translating your document no matter how big or small, from beginning to end through our quality assurance process.
1) Document Analysis
Just drag and drop your documents (more than 60file type supported) and Taia will instantly analyze them, calculating the amount of total words and the amount of actually payable words, reduced by counting in repetitions.
An exact price estimate and a quotation is ready in about 30 seconds and you get to choose between different services and delivery dates. This way, you’re always in control.
2) Project Management
Once you submit your order, our Project Management team reviews your project, selects the appropriate translation memory (TM) and assigns the most suitable professional translators, proofreaders and reviewers to your project.
3) Professional Translation
Professional translators receive your documents inside our system and immediately start reviewing and updating the output of the Neural Machine Translation, the Smart Translation Memory and Intelligent vocabulary recommendations, right inside our browser based CAT tool.
This way your files are never sent over email and translators don’t get to store them on their local workstation, keeping your files safe in our encrypted cloud at all times.
4) Translation Review, Proofreading and DTP
Depending on the service you select, your project will likely be assigned to a bilingual reviser, who makes sure your there’s no mistakes left and your translation is perfect.
In some cases you might decide for even a third pair of eyes – a professional proofreader who makes sure your translation is localized and sounds perfectly natural in the target language.
Think of it more as trans-creation of your text.
And if you decide for a graphical editing a DTP engineer will make sure your publication looks pixel perfect.
5) Final Approval
Your already reviewed and edited translation is reviewed one more time by our project managers and finalized with assistance of an automated linguistic quality assurance solution.
6) Download Your Translation
Once your translated, localized and reviewed content is ready for you, you receive a notification and can download it from our app securely.
The translated language pairs are stored in your private TM vault if you decide so, so you can save time and money for the next project with similar text you might need translating.
We welcome your feedback and approval of the result, and voila, your high-quality translation order is complete!
