Do I need CAT tool experience to use this?
No! Unlike professional CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, Phrase), Taia's Translation Editor is designed for non-translators. If you can use Google Docs, you can use this. It's built for marketing managers and content teams who need to review translations quickly—not manage complex localization workflows.
How is this different from editing in Word or Google Docs?
You see source and translation side-by-side, making it easy to spot errors. Plus, every segment you save goes into the Translation Memory attached to your project, so future AI translations start from your approved wording. And each sentence you open is checked against your glossary.
Can multiple people edit the same translation?
Yes. A team or organization manager creates the tasks and assigns them to your own people. Each person gets their own task, so you can split the work by target language, or by step: a first pass, then a review of it. Anyone on the project can leave a comment on a segment to settle a wording question in place. What isn't possible yet is two people editing the same segment at the same time, Google Docs style. That's coming soon.
What happens if I don't have time to review translations in-house?

Does Translation Editor work with translation memory?
Yes! Every segment you save goes into your Translation Memory. Future AI translations are guided by your approved phrases, and matches show up in the editor while you review, so your terminology stays consistent and reviews get shorter. The more you review, the closer the first draft gets to your own wording.
Is Translation Editor included in all plans?
Translation Editor is available in the Pro and Enterprise plans. Free and Basic plans only allow downloading final translations, with no in-editor review. Compare plans to see what's included.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts to speed up editing?
Yes! Ctrl+Enter saves a segment and moves to the next one, Ctrl+U jumps to the next segment nobody has reviewed, and Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+3 insert Translation Memory matches. The full list is inside the editor and in our help center. Power users can review translations without touching the mouse.
