Taia offers and pricing, explained

Taia prices AI translation in credits and human translation per word. This page explains both, and it's where any offer we're running shows up.

What does Taia cost?

Four plans: Free, Basic at €9 a month, Pro from €39 a month, and Enterprise. Every plan is a subscription for AI translation and the editor. Prices are VAT-exclusive, and paying annually gets you 2 months free.

What is a credit, and how many do I need?

A credit is one word translated on the Standard AI model. That's the whole rule, and everything else is a multiple of it. On Pro and Enterprise you can also pick Advanced, which costs 2 credits a word, or Premium, which costs 4. You choose per project, so a bulk import and a landing page don't have to cost the same.

For a sense of scale, 100,000 credits is roughly 400 pages a month on Standard. Credits reset monthly. If you run out mid-month, top-up packs start at €9 for 10,000 credits, and €39 buys 50,000.

Here's the thing most people don't realise: on Pro, your translation memory and glossary get better on their own. The memory stores segments you've already approved. The glossary keeps your product names and technical terms consistent in every language. Both guide the AI, and both are a direct cost saving on work done by our linguists.

What does professional translation cost?

Work done by Taia's linguists is priced per word and is never part of a subscription. You get an instant quote before you order, in three tiers:

  • Essential, from €0.06 a word. MT post-editing by 1 linguist.
  • Enhanced, from €0.09 a word. Translator + revisor (ISO 17100).
  • Ultimate, from €0.12 a word. Translation + Editing + Proofreading (TEP).

The two halves aren't separate products. Everything a linguist approves goes into the same translation memory your AI translations read from. On professional work that reuse is a real discount, which is why the second project in a language costs less than the first. On AI translation the memory is guidance rather than a discount: it steers terminology and style, and every word is still a credit.

Taia is an AI-first localization platform that combines instant AI translation in 204 languages and 65+ file formats, a built-in CAT editor and translation management system, and ISO 17100-certified professional linguists, with translation memory, glossary and style guide shared across all three.

What does an offer actually change?

An offer changes what you get for the plan price, and nothing else. Usually that's extra credits for a stated number of months. It doesn't change where your files live, what happens to your translation memory, or your right to cancel.

A few things are always true. An offer runs for a fixed window, and the end date is shown with it here while it runs. It applies once per account. It stops on its own, so there's nothing to remember to cancel. And when it ends, you keep the translation memory and glossary you built while using it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Taia run offers all the time?

No. Most of the year there's nothing running, and this page just explains what things cost.

What is a credit?

A credit is one word translated on the Standard AI model. On Pro and Enterprise you can also pick Advanced, which costs 2 credits a word, or Premium, which costs 4. You choose per project, so bulk content and brand-critical content don't have to cost the same.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Translation stops until the next monthly reset, or you buy a top-up pack. Top-ups start at €9 for 10,000 credits, and they run until your billing period resets, same as your monthly credits.

Is professional human translation included in a plan?

No, and deliberately. Subscriptions cover AI translation and the editor. Work done by our linguists is always priced per word, quoted before you order, and starts at €0.06 a word for Essential.

Does an offer change what I pay later?

Not unless the offer says so. A credits offer adds credits for a stated number of months and then stops; your plan price is whatever the pricing page says it is. Anything an offer changes permanently is written on the offer itself.

Can I cancel after taking an offer?

Yes. Cancel anytime, and there's a 14-day money-back guarantee on a new subscription. Your translation memory and glossary stay in your account.
