Audio and video translation, in the same place as your documents
The problem it's for
Video is where a lot of a company's knowledge lives, and it is the content that most often stays in one language. Transcribing it, translating it and keeping the terminology consistent usually means a separate tool, a separate vendor and a separate glossary.
We want a recording to be one more file in your Taia account, with the same translation memory and glossary as everything else you translate.
What we're planning
Early access will start small, and transcripts come first. This is the plan, and it can change as we test it. We'll tell you what is and isn't ready when we invite you.
- Transcripts from audio and video. Upload a recording and get a transcript you can edit, with the timing of each word.
- Speaker labels as an option. For interviews, meetings and panels, you can ask for speakers to be told apart.
- Translation with your terminology. Translate the transcript with your translation memory and glossary, in the same editor as your documents.
- Subtitles and translated transcripts. Tell us on the form which you need most, so we can build in the right order.
How it's different
- Documents, app text and recordings in one account. They will share one translation memory and one glossary, so a term is translated the same way everywhere.
- Professional linguists are optional, not a second vendor. They work inside Taia, on the same projects. Our process is ISO 17100 certified.
- Your content stays yours. Customer content is never used to train AI models.
